The team at Coventry Hospital Radio have secured a £500 donation from supermarket giant ASDA, thanks to shoopers and their green tokens.

On Wednesday 15th May the radio station was awarded the grand prize after receiving the most green token donations in March at the Walsgrave supermarket in Brade Drive.

Coventry Hospital Radio is looking to put the money towards refurbishing both of its studios with new equipment and looking at future jingles packages to help bring a positive experience to their volunteers but also patient’s on the wards.

‘The Volunteers from Coventry Hospital Radio said ‘we want to say a big thank you to all that took the time to use their token to vote for us when out shopping. We are so grateful for your support’
