Our next regional gathering will be taking place on Sunday 8th November 2015 at The All Saints Centre, Bath at 2pm til 4pm and I’m pleased to announce that one of the team from Health Today Radio, Rosie Runciman will be our guest for the afternoon.
Rosie, founded The Sound Doctor, (along with Dominic Arkwright) has worked at the BBC for more than 20 years on Radio 4's Today programme, Newsnight, Radio 5 Live and at The World Service. Dominic worked at the BBC for more than 20 years, mostly on Radio 4 's Today programme as well as Newsnight and PM. He also presented discussion programme 'Off the Page' and 'The Call' on Radio 4.
The Sound Doctor produces Health Today Radio, a weekly radio magazine programme full of music & celebrities talking about health issues, information about a wide variety of different conditions and inspirational stories. The Dept. of Health have given permission for HBA Members to play these on their station and Rosie has kindly agreed to explain the concept of why The Sound Doctor was set up and how you can use Health Today Radio and answer your questions. This event is FREE to ALL VOLUNTEERS from HBA Member Stations from anywhere in the UK, Bath has good rail links from all corners of the country. Places are limited so please advise the names of those coming from your station together with a working email address so I can send you the final instructions nearer to the time. Refreshments available.
