The Hospital Broadcasting Association (HBA) today announced the re-appointment of three Trustees and welcomed a new member to the board at the organisation’s Annual General Meeting held on Saturday 29th March 2019.
Sam Smette, joins the HBA Trustees having been newly elected this year. He will stand in office for three years.
Grant McNaughton has been re-elected by HBA member stations to be the organisations Chairman, while Nigel Dallard has been re-elected to the board. Mike Sarre has been co-opted to stand as a Trustee for another year.

The Annual General Meeting formed part of the HBA Annual Conference, which this year was held in Stoke-on-Trent. The yearly event is a chance for volunteers from across the country to get together to network, engage with seminars and listen to guest speakers talk about the radio industry. The event is also home to the National Hospital Radio Awards, a celebration of the work of volunteers both on air and behind the scenes.
