Hospital Radio Ipswich will be broadcasting special programmes on Remembrance Sunday.
To help to commemorate those who gave their lives in service for their country and mark the 100th anniversary since the official end of World War 1.
Starting at 10am we will present a new documentary produced especially for HRI, telling the story of the two World Wars with reference to Ipswich, local veterans who served their country and featuring memorable sounds from the conflicts that shaped our history.
We will then join the Royal British Legion at the Cenotaph in London to broadcast the start of the National Service of Remembrance just before 11am.
After the last post has sounded, Hospital Radios Ipswich and Colchester come together for a local service of Remembrance live from the Chapel at Colchester Hospital presented by the hospitals chaplains.
