Kingstown Radio

Kingstown Radio, the working name for Hospital Broadcasting Services (Hull and East Riding), was established in 1961 and broadcasts to 2 hospitals, 24 hours a day.

L & D Hospital Radio, the working name for The Hospital Radio, was established in 1965 and broadcasts to Luton & Dunstable Hospital, 24 hours a day.

Leeds Hospital Radio

Radio Allerton was established in 1978. In November 2017 it merged with the radio stations at the Leeds General Infirmary and St James' hospital with the aim of providing a single broadcasting service to all 3 hospitals, although at present it still broadcasts just to Chapel Allerton Hospital.

Life Care Radio

Life Care Radio was established in 2013 and broadcasts to more than ten nursing and residential homes in the South Devon area. We are keen to attract more homes and listeners who are receiving long term care and invite hospices, nursing and residential homes to contact us if they believe their patients would benefit from receiving our service.

Mayfield Radio, the working name for Mayfield Radio Unit, was established in 1971 and broadcasts to 2 hospitals.

Meridian Radio

Meridian Radio, the working name for Woolwich Hospitals Broadcasting Service, was established in 1962 and broadcasts to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, for a total of 24 hours each week.
Approximately 19 people are involved in the day-to-day running of the station. Volunteers are always needed; you should contact the station directly if you are interested.

Merthyr Hospital Radio

Merthyr Hospital Radio, the working name for Merthyr Hospital Broadcasting, was established in 1979 and broadcasts to Prince Charles Hospital.

Mid-Downs Radio

Mid-Downs Radio, the working name for Mid-Downs Hospital Radio, was established in 1976 and broadcasts within the Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath as a hospital radio and to a broader audience via an Internet streaming service, 24 hours a day.

Millside Hospital Radio

Millside Radio broadcast live in high quality stereo sound 24 hours a day from the Kings Mill Centre for patients in hospital and online.
You can listen to our shows totally free either through the bedside Hospedia units on Channel 5 or via the internet at millsideradio.co.uk.
Millside Radio is ran by a dedicated team of volunteers. The station is a registered charity and relies on fundraising and sponsorship to keep the service running.
In addition to our ward visiting team who regularly go around the wards looking for requests and supporting patients we are keen that you get involved with your hospital radio station.
