He was a much loved, dedicated & enthusiastic individual who had a real passion for sharing his love and knowledge of music.
Simon Field who has been with Radio Glamorgan since 1984, presented what the emotional tribute. He was joined by Karlo’s two children Carlene and Daniel and former work colleague Mark Gorman, who all shared their memories of Karlo. Some past and current volunteers at the station also paid their respects too.
Chairman Jamie Pritchard said
“It really was a fitting tribute to our King Karlo, especially during Volunteers Week where it’s all about recognising those who make a difference. Remembering one of our longest serving volunteers in this way, playing some of his favourite songs and hearing his voice again was something really special”
